The engine underneath.
Here is exactly where we stand: what powers products in people’s hands today, what we are building right now, and where we are heading. We don’t claim what we can’t show you.
In production6
Powering products in people's hands today.
Applied AI & Language Models
Frontier language models answer real questions for real users inside Aboy AI and LegalBridge every day. We don't train foundation models. We apply them exceptionally well.
Retrieval & Grounding
Our RAG pipeline uses Voyage embeddings over pgvector across vetted sources, so every answer is drawn from a real document and shows where it came from. This is the engine that stops the AI from guessing.
Multilingual NLP
Grounded medical and legal answers in English, Pidgin, Hausa, Yorùbá, and Igbo. Getting a model to reason accurately in Nigerian languages is the hardest thing we do, and the hardest for anyone else to copy.
Healthcare Technology
Aboy AI is live on Google Play, helping medical, nursing, and allied health students learn from cited medical sources, with flashcards and study streaks built in.
Legal Technology
LegalBridge answers Nigerian legal questions grounded in real statutes, with the provision shown alongside the answer, live on Google Play.
Mobile Engineering
Offline-first React Native apps engineered for low bandwidth and the phone a Nigerian student already owns. Shipped, in the Play Store, in daily use.
In development2
Built and working. Being readied for launch.
Generative Media
Bobo AI generates video, images, and music from a single prompt. The pipeline works today and is being readied for public launch.
Voice & Speech
Natural voice answers, so people can hear the law and their lessons spoken in their own language. In development for our next releases.
Where we're heading4
Our long-term ambitions. Direction, not delivery. We'll say so until it ships.
Computer Vision
Medical imaging support and document understanding. A direction we intend to take, not something we ship today.
Data Science
Analytics that turn product usage into sharper decisions. On our roadmap as our user base grows.
Robotics
Autonomous systems for African agriculture, logistics, and healthcare delivery. A long-horizon ambition.
Internet of Things
Connected devices for markets where offline-first is a requirement, not a feature. An ambition for the years ahead.
How we build
Not technology domains. Just the standards under everything we ship.
Security by default
Row-level security, audit logging, and zero-trust service design in every product from day one.
Managed cloud
We deploy on Railway, Supabase, and Cloudflare so our engineers build products, not data centres.
Vetted sources only
Our models read from whitelisted medical and legal sources. No open-web scraping behind an answer.
Why we split this out. Plenty of companies list every technology they can name. Deploying on a managed cloud is not a cloud division, and switching on database security is not a cybersecurity practice. We would rather you know precisely what runs in production today and what is still ambition. When something moves up a tier, it will be because it shipped.
